Still catching up a ton of blogging, so for several of my amazing, super loyal (thank you!!!) clients, we have a lot more than just 1 session to share. Luckily, before I got so behind on blogging, I already blogged Chamberlyn’s newborn session, and her parents maternity session. This time, we are taking a look back at her 1st birthday cake smash, which I am still in love with. As well as our most recent session to capture her 2 year portraits! 2 year olds are night an day from 1 year olds, let me tell you. They are like little people, and no longer babies. They are smart, and creative, full of energy, and you can see the pure untainted joy and emotion in every single step they take. And sometimes the flip side that makes them like miniature teenagers. Haha! But, they are unfiltered, and raw and real. And THAT is what I live to capture. The seasons, the milestones, the growth. It is without a doubt, the best job ever.
This beautiful little lady is everything! Kid you not, probably the most advanced child for her age, that I’ve ever met. I photographed her Mom & Dad first for their maternity portraits carrying her, and then throughout her entire first year as a newborn, 3, 6, 9, and 12 month old! Maybe because she was far more aware of what was going on than we expected, because she’s a little smarty pants, but she put up a serious fight at her newborn session. I tell you though, she made up for it in every shoot to follow by giving me all I cold want and more! This is why these baby packages are so important. It helps parents stay on a committed schedule to document this incredibly fleeting time. And other than scheduling and some outfit fun here and there, all of the work is on me! It is SO much fun to look back! And the coolest thing, they surprised me with a special announcement at her 1 year session, that she is going to be a big sister!! So we get to do it all again with her baby sibling! I cant wait to see if its a he/she, what awesome name they come up with for this one, and of course how Ace adapts to her role as big sister! Here’s a little peek at the fun I’ve had with this wonderful family!
I had so much fun capturing this entire group at their extended family session! Mom and Dad, their 3 beautiful daughters, along with their husbands and all of the grandchildren, made for such a special session! We really take the time to work in individual families, kids together, individually, grandparents and grandkids, couples, etc. We hit every configuration, but its tricky! Because with lots of littles, we have to move swiftly. It always works out so well though. And this session was no exception. Here’s a peek….
