This was another on location newborn session I have done recently, and I have to say that I am really enjoying doing these this way. Clients get to stay in the comfort of their own home, where all of their newborn essentials are immediately accessible, and they are able to breastfeed comfortably… Plus, if there are older siblings involved then they can run and play in between the shots we need them for. It has just worked out really great. And I was especially glad that I chose an on location session for this sweet pea. He and his parents have a gorgeous house, and we were able to work several elements from their own lives into the session. His Momma has an incredible garden, and her only request for the session was that we work some of her fall harvest items into a shot. She wanted something Fall themed, using her own pumpkins and indian corn. I had an idea in my head, and then when we got there I was able to work in even more from their garden and home, and together we ended up creating probably my most favorite themed portrait to date. I am really thrilled with how it turned out. (It’s the last one in the preview). There are a couple of other variations of the shot, one geared more toward what Mom liked, and one geared more toward what Dad liked….but since this is just a “preview” we are only sharing one. Anyhow, we ended up with quite a variety of portraits of this little man and his parents, and I am very happy with it all. It was really great to meet you guys, enjoy your preview!
